What Ami Does

Ami turns your cat's photo into an interactive cartoon character you can pet on screen. To do this, we need to process one photo of your cat — and only your cat.

We don't collect personal information. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking. The only data involved is your cat's photo and the cartoon character it becomes.

Your Cat's Photo

When you create your own cat, here's exactly what happens to the photo:

• The photo is compressed on your device (max 768px, under 300KB) and uploaded to our server.
• All EXIF metadata (GPS location, device info, timestamps) is stripped before upload — we never see it.
• Our server sends the photo to Google's Gemini service to analyze the cat's breed, colors, and features, and to generate 22 illustrations.
• Your original photo is automatically deleted from our server after generation is complete.
• We do not store, review, or use your photos for any purpose other than creating your cat's character.

Third-Party Processing

Your cat's photo is processed by these services:

• Google Gemini (via OpenRouter API) — Analyzes your cat's appearance and generates the illustrations. Google's own privacy policy governs their handling of the image data.
• Cloudflare — Our server infrastructure. Temporarily holds the photo and generated images during processing.

We do not authorize any third party to retain, train on, or redistribute your cat's photo.

What Stays on Your Device

• Your generated cat characters are stored only on your device.
• App preferences (sound, haptics) are stored locally.
• Nothing is synced to iCloud or any cloud service.
• Deleting the app removes everything permanently.

Your Rights

You can exercise these rights at any time:

• Delete your data. You can delete individual cats inside the app, which removes them from your device. To request deletion of any server-side copies, contact us at app@grep24.com.
• Access your data. The cat bundle you download contains your original photo and every generated image — that IS your data, in your hands. For anything else, contact us.
• Withdraw consent. Uninstalling the app stops any new data from being created.

Requests are answered within 30 days.

Security

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• Server-side storage is encrypted and access-controlled.
• No human reviews your photos — the entire process is automated.
• Server data is purged automatically, not manually.
